There was contradiction between the Glorious Revolution and England's treatment of the American colonies because England wasn't treating the American colonies right until the Decleration of Independence was made. Once it was made, the American colonies were able to secure their rights. -Brittany Huber
England didn't treat the American colonies well enough and at the same time they were taxing them more and more. This pissed off the people in the colonies and made them rebel which later on the Declaration of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson. It stated how the citizens have natural rights in life , and liberty. Declaration of Independence is similar to the ideas of John Locke.
There was certainly contradiction between the Glorious Revolution and England's treatment of the American colonies before the Declaration of Independence.
